Wisconsin business and economic development groups advocate for new UW-Madison engineering building

A coalition of organizations representing Wisconsin employers, contractors, and economic development entities have come together to advocate for the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a new College of Engineering building. In a recent letter to legislators, they emphasize the crucial role engineering graduates play in the state’s workforce and economic development, and how a new, state-of-the-art building would increase student enrollment, promote innovative research and help meet employer demands.  In the message, they urge the Wisconsin State Legislature to include the project in the 2023-25 capital budget, helping the state’s top engineering program remain competitive.
